[ send me this paper ]
This is a 5 page paper discussing the survival strategies of cats. Cats, as well as other animals today, have developed different strategies for survival which include those needed for survival in the wild and the ultimate competition with natural space with man, and those needed for survival in domestic situations. In addition, strategies for cat and animal survival have also been developed by humans to help retain species threatened by the expansion of man’s urban life. The types of cats range from the larger game cats such as tigers and lions still in the wild and those cats which rely on humans for their existence in reserve, zoo and domestic environments. Wildlife rehabilitation clinics have significantly helped with the problem of addressing the fact that many wildlife species having nowhere left to go but straight into suburbia; however, their efforts are not taking shape quickly enough as a means by which to abate the overwhelming human ignorance in relation to wildlife knowledge and the irreparable harm that is occurring due to selfish actions. Bibliography lists 18 sources.

Vicious Dogs And Ownership
[ send me this paper ]
7 pages in length. Dogs are considered to be the first animal ever domesticated by humans; bones found in campsites dating as far back as the late Stone Age have been a common discovery. Indeed, the remains of these dogs resemble at least five different varieties of the pets we know today. It is thought that the wild dog, being a scavenger, loitered around the campsites of hunters some one hundred thousand years ago; the hunters may have realized that pups raised in the camp became accustomed to their human companions while still maintaining their ability to hunt. Consequently, the dogs were allowed to participate in the chase and partake of the feast at the same time, ultimately being transformed into the rudimentary form of canine companions known today. However, the camaraderie and respect between man and dog born out of that natural progression has not effectively maintained its presence throughout the recent past, with dogs becoming the victim of human irresponsibility and mistreatment. This breakdown in admiration and affection from man's side has caused certain dog breeds to suffer the wholly unjustified and broad sweeping condemnation of being labeled as vicious. Bibliography lists 8 sources.

Why Leashed Dogs Do Not Need To Be Muzzled
[ send me this paper ]
8 pages in length. The need for a protective environment within a public setting is clear; however, the extent to which such protection is actually necessary is where people need to discern between human responsibility and natural canine behavior. Typically, the people who clamor for muzzles on an already leashed dog are not dog people themselves, and they believe that the only good dog is one who is virtually devoid of his or her instinctual abilities. A person of limited canine understanding thinks that dogs will bite for no reason; muzzles must be used in order to curtail this expected occurrence. Bibliography lists 6 sources.
