This paper reviews views of business in terms of Asian culture and Singapore’s unique position to determine whether participative management is appropriate in Singapore. It concludes that not only is it appropriate, it also is very much in practice. Are Women's Lives In East And Southeast Asia Better Now Than They Were In The Past?

Examining the progress made in East Asia and Southeast Asia finds that when comparing Taiwan and Malaysia, only one of the two countries has shown any indication of gender respect and equity.
